Asynchronous I/O abstractions for the ntex ecosystem.
Io wraps an underlying IoStream and coordinates buffered reads,
writes, backpressure, timeouts, and shutdown. Protocol transforms can be
composed through Filter layers, while Framed combines an I/O stream
with an ntex-codec encoder and decoder.
Use IoConfig to configure buffer thresholds and connection timeouts.
Re-exports§
pub use self::cfg::IoConfig;
Modules§
- cfg
- I/O buffer, timeout, and frame-rate configuration.
- testing
- In-memory I/O transport and helpers for tests.
- types
- Values exposed through transport and filter queries.
Macros§
- forward_
query - Implements
Filter::queryby forwarding to a field. - forward_
ready - Implements
Filter::poll_read_readyandFilter::poll_write_readyby forwarding readiness checks to a field. - forward_
shutdown - Implements
Filter::shutdownby forwarding to a field.
Structs§
- Base
- Base filter that connects a filter chain to the underlying transport.
- Decoded
- Result of a single decode attempt.
- Filter
Buf - Buffers and connection state adjacent to one
FilterLayer. - Filter
Ctx - Context used while traversing a complete filter chain.
- Framed
- A codec-driven interface to an underlying I/O stream.
- Id
- Opaque identifier assigned to a registered I/O stream.
- Io
- Buffered, filterable interface to an underlying I/O stream.
- IoBoxed
- An
Ioobject whose filter-chain type has been erased. - IoContext
- Connection context shared with transport read and write tasks.
- IoRef
- A cheap, cloneable handle to an
Ioconnection. - Layer
- One processing layer wrapped around an existing filter chain.
- Sealed
- Type-erased filter chain used by
IoBoxed. - Timer
Handle - Handle to an I/O dispatcher timer.
- Waiter
- A waiter registered for a tag of the I/O stream.
Enums§
- IoStatus
Update - I/O status update events.
- IoTask
Status - Current status of the I/O state.
- Readiness
- Filter readiness state.
- Recv
Error - Errors that can occur while receiving data.
