Decoder

Struct Decoder

Source
pub struct Decoder<S> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Payload stream decoder.

Decompresses a stream of payload chunks. gzip, deflate and zstd are decoded; other encodings pass the stream through unchanged.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<S> Decoder<S>
where S: Stream<Item = Result<Bytes, PayloadError>>,

Source

pub fn new(stream: S, encoding: ContentEncoding) -> Decoder<S>

Construct a decoder for the given content encoding.

Source

pub fn from_headers(stream: S, headers: &HeaderMap) -> Decoder<S>

Construct decoder based on the Content-Encoding header.

A missing or invalid header selects the Identity encoding.

Trait Implementations§

where S: Debug,

Source§

fn fmt(&self, __derive_more_f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
Source§

impl<S> Stream for Decoder<S>
where S: Stream<Item = Result<Bytes, PayloadError>> + Unpin,

Source§

type Item = Result<Bytes, PayloadError>

Values yielded by the stream.
Source§

fn poll_next( self: Pin<&mut Self>, cx: &mut Context<'_>, ) -> Poll<Option<Self::Item>>

Attempt to pull out the next value of this stream, registering the current task for wakeup if the value is not yet available, and returning None if the stream is exhausted. Read more
§

fn size_hint(&self) -> (usize, Option<usize>)

Returns the bounds on the remaining length of the stream. Read more
